Bio Music One and self-confidence in everyday life
BMO FOR YOUR NEEDS · SELF-CONFIDENCE

Self-Confidence: Be Yourself and Move Forward with Confidence

The idea you keep to yourself in a meeting. The doubts that creep in before an important appointment.

Take a moment to listen, or let an album play quietly as you go about your day.

What if you trusted yourself a little more?

Keeping quiet

You had something to say. You waited for the right moment, but it never came. The meeting ended without you speaking up.

The night before

A job interview, a presentation, an important conversation. That evening, the same thought keeps coming back: “I won't be good enough.”

What others think

You spend so much time meeting other people's expectations that you are no longer sure what you would choose for yourself.

Self-doubt affects everyone differently, in small everyday choices as well as major decisions.

The main point

Self-confidence doesn't mean never being afraid or becoming someone else.

Being confident doesn't mean succeeding at everything or never feeling uncertain. It means recognising your worth, accepting your strengths and imperfections, and allowing yourself to move forward even when you don't have all the answers.

Bio Music One isn't about changing who you are. It offers an opportunity to pay attention to yourself, so you can decide what to do next.

Two ways to listen. Choose what works for you.

Many BMO users describe feeling more comfortable with themselves, recognising their own worth and approaching everyday situations with greater confidence. Some say they find it easier to speak up or make decisions.

Before something you're nervous about: take time for yourself

Try Conscious Listening with headphones and your eyes closed. Notice whatever you feel, without trying to convince yourself of anything. This break may help you put other people's expectations aside for a while.

Throughout the day: without interrupting what you're doing

Play an album in the background, or use Inaudible & Continuous mode, while preparing a project, working or adjusting to a change. With or without audible music, there is no need to add anything to your schedule.

You can choose either way of listening, or both, depending on the moment.

What if you don't notice anything obvious?

“With this music, I feel that I exist in the present moment, that I simply am, and that I can pay more attention to what is happening both inside and around me. There is something like a faint, intangible breath, swirling, active and flowing, which seems to act on my cells, around me and in my immediate surroundings, bringing something alive. To sum up, I would say that with this music, I move forward with peace in my heart, serenity in my soul, joy in my mind and an expanded awareness.”
AV

Sometimes the first changes are subtle and may not seem related to confidence. You might notice a difference later on. There is nothing to achieve: simply pay attention, at your own pace.

What if you gave yourself a chance to feel more confident?

1

Choose an album you like

Listen to the free album excerpts and pick one that appeals to you. If you buy it as a download for the BMO app, it will be activated as soon as possible. You may be able to start listening today.

2

Choose how you want to listen

Try Conscious Listening before a situation that makes you hesitate. Or play an album in the background or in Inaudible & Continuous mode during your day.

3

Notice what changes, at your own pace

Think about how you deal with things you used to hesitate over: making a decision, sharing an opinion, starting a project or changing a habit. Do you feel freer to be yourself? More comfortable expressing what you need? More willing to take a first step without knowing exactly where it leads? There is no need to measure or compare. Just notice.

See things as they are. Make conscious choices.
