Music and Sleep: More Peaceful Nights
At bedtime, your mind won’t switch off. At 4 a.m., you’re wide awake. By morning, you still feel tired.
You can play a BMO album silently while you sleep. The aim is simple: to fall asleep more easily, get a good night’s rest and feel more refreshed in the morning.
Your body is ready for sleep. Your mind isn’t.
At bedtime
You’re lying in bed, the day is over, but tomorrow’s to-do list keeps running through your mind. The harder you try to fall asleep, the more your thoughts take over.
At 4 a.m.
You wake up for no obvious reason, and it takes a while to drift off again.
In the morning
The hours have passed, but you don’t feel truly refreshed.
You might recognise one of these situations, or all three. Taking some time to relax before bed can help you prepare for sleep.
Three times to use BMO. Two ways to listen.
Bio Music One can be part of your evenings and nights. Some listeners describe finding it easier to fall asleep, waking less often and feeling more rested in the morning.
In the evening: wind down
Listen to a BMO album through headphones, with your eyes closed, to take a break from the day. Or play it quietly in the background while you go about your evening.
During the night: keep your room quiet
Let an album play in Inaudible & Continuous mode. You hear nothing, your bedroom stays quiet, and there’s nothing you need to do. If you prefer, you can also listen at a low volume.
In the morning: how did you sleep?
Think about how easily you fell asleep, whether you woke during the night and how rested you feel in the morning. There’s no need to keep a record.
You can use either listening option, or both. Choose what suits you best.
Their nights, in their own words
“From the very first night, with it playing on repeat and the volume turned right down, I fell asleep effortlessly — even though I’ve struggled with insomnia for years and am extremely sensitive to noise.”
“Since I started playing Bio Music One at night, I sleep right through until morning. Before, I often woke up at four in the morning without knowing why.”
“When I wake up, I fall straight back to sleep.”
“I don’t sleep any longer than I used to (roughly midnight to 6 a.m.), but I wake up feeling much better rested.”
“My sleep is deeper and more restorative.”
“I didn’t sleep any better on the first two nights… but I immediately felt mentally relaxed. Then, on the third night, I slept two hours longer than usual.”
Some people notice a difference from the first night. Others notice changes over several nights.
These testimonials reflect individual experiences. What people notice and the results they experience may vary.
What if you tried BMO while you sleep?
Choose an album you like

Choose how you’d like to listen
Use Inaudible & Continuous mode to preserve the quiet, or play the music audibly at a low volume. You could also begin with a session of Conscious Listening before bed.
See how you sleep
How easily you drift off. Whether you sleep through the night. How you feel when you wake up.
See things as they are. Make conscious choices.
